The University has campus wide wireless internet access, as long as the computer is registered on the network. Apples and PC's both work fine, as do wi-fi enabled handhelds such as iPhones. The only requirement that the school maintains is the use of Sophos anti-virus, available for free through the technical support website, and installation of Windows Defender on computers running a Windows Operating System. As long as these requirements are confirmed, any computer can be registered the the network through the student ID and password, providing secure, high-speed internet access from the lake to the classrooms.

A recent development in campus technology has added ESuds systems to all laundry rooms on campus. Since the cost of using washers and dryers is now included in tuition, all students have to do is swipe their Spidercard in one of the ESuds boxes located in every laundry room. No more quarters! Forget your Spidercard back in your room? No problem, just type in your PIN.

Students are also alerted by e-mail when their cycle is complete, cutting down on the risk of some impatient guy throwing your wet laundry on the floor because he needs your washer. The website is also a convenient way to check if there are any washers/dryers available without making the long trip to the laundry room.
