The For-Life concept is practically universal, but Soundtrack-for-Life was the first. It makes sense that it happened that way.
The history of music predates the written word and is tied to the development of each unique human culture. The development of music among humans occurred against the backdrop of natural sounds such as birdsong and the sounds other animals use to communicate.
We really want the artists to support this initiative - this way of distributing and experiencing music and stories. I hear artists mention this whole "soundtrack for life" thing all the time and we are taking it to the next level. Pairing music (and stories in general) with real information is a new (and somewhat advanced) way to experience music.
