It isn’t difficult to find amazing restaurants in San Francisco, and some of them can even be pretty inexpensive. For example, Goat Hill Pizza is one the most unique and fun place to grab a bite to eat in the city. It’s great for a few reasons. One of them is that it has a really nice view of the city. It’s also located in Portrero Hill, so that it’s not in the middle of all of the down town chaos. It is in a more residential area, so the atmosphere is a little more laid back. Another thing that I love about Goat Hill Pizza is the atmosphere. It’s casual; the waiters don’t bother you, but at the same time they know what’s good on the menu and will let you know if you ask. Not to mention, just about everything on the menu is probably good. The Pesto Plus pizza is tasty, but light so you leave the restaurant feeling satisfied, but not stuffed. A medium pizza has 8 slices, but they’re small, so it’s the perfect amount to split with someone else. The mini pizza has 4 four slices and perfect for anyone that doesn’t like sharing. It’s easily accessible, although it does take about an hour to get there from SFSU on public transportation. You have to take the M-line Muni to Montgomery and then catch the 22 down 16th to Connecticut St. and 18th. It will be on your right side and there’s a big goat head on the sign out front. Follow the delicious aroma and get ready to enjoy an amazing meal in an even more amazing location.

If you're looking for a cheap place to eat this article is not the one to read. However, if you're looking for some truly amazing food and don't mind paying a little extra, read on.
This heaven-on-earth restaurant is called Ramblas Tapas Bar (there is bar, but it is above all a restaurant, so if you're under 21 you can still get in!). It is located at 557 Valencia St., in the heart of Mission District. It is a little over 7 miles from SF State, however public transportation gets right to it or it's only a 15 minute drive. There are driving directions on there website. If you happened to take a look at the menu while you are on the website, you might not think that the prices are that bad. However, it is a lot of money for a small portion of food. For everyone in a group to be satisfied with their meal it would be about $35 per person. This is why, you have to be comfortable spending a little money. But trust me, if you're looking for a special place for a date or a place to show off to your parents when they come to visit, Ramblas will definitely impress them. Despite the portions being small, the flavors are amazing. Plus, this just means that you have to order more the things that you enjoy. They offer the best dishes in Mexican cuisine. I can say with certainty that anything on their menu will be delicious, but the flat-iron steak is perfect. It is cooked perfectly and seasoned even better. Ramblas is the perfect environment to celebrate with friends and family and treat yourselves to some fine dining. Save up and have a great time!
