Poor Philadelphia Fans

Philly is one of, if not THE most passionate sports cities in the country. People that are not from Philly may not fully understand what it means to be a true die hard Philly sports fan. It's a painful thing when our teams loose, but when they do, they usually do it in style.

Why are we the way we we are? Well, when you have players like Brian Dawkins getting the crowds juiced, you should understand what's up. Philadelphia sports fans are the most die hard fans of any city in the US. When it comes to Eagles season Philadelphia goes insane. Being part of something like it is an amazing feeling. Chanting the Eagles fight song anywhere and everyone after a big win, or sharing the pain at a bar over a big loss with total strangers is the life of a Philly sports fan.

Bottom Line:

We love our sports, and we love our city. Philadelphia pride may not be understood by outsiders, but to be part of it is a great thing.

Lincoln Financial Field

Lincoln Financial Field is the new home of the Philadelphia Eagles and is a big hit with football fans. The stadium is huge, and has 68,532 seats. There is also a Pro-Shop Stadium store where fans can buy all kinds of Eagles gear. Also make sure to check out the concessions, including the Liberty Grill, Market St. Deli, Chickie's and Pete's, and Philly Favorites.

Unfortunately, tickets are in high demand and very hard to come across. You can buy them on eBay, but they are usually really expensive. Your best bet is to make friends with someone who is a season ticket holder! And if you get a chance to go to a game, don't pass it up. Even if you aren't a football fan, the tailgating scene is reason enough to go.

Phightin Phils

The Philadelphia Phillies are the greatest baseball team of all time. Charlie Manuel is 93 years old and still took the team to the playoffs for the first time in 14 years, but since the team was so hungover from celebrating the division title, they were easily swept in the playoffs. But that is one of the many reasons they are the greatest team.

Chase Utley and Pat Burrell pull more ass than any Yankee, and they don't need steroids to drive the ball out of the park. Philly's biggest ball players are built out of dollar dogs, beer, and pure lard. They are real men, and if you are not a Phillies fan go f*** yourself. (spoken like a true Philly fan -admin)

Crazy Fans

Philadelphia sports fans are CRAZY--but crazy in the good sense of the word when it comes to being a fan. The Philadelphia Eagles rule the life of the Philadelphia sports fans during football season. If there is a big loss, the city shares a deep state of depression for the week leading up to the next game.

Toast The Eagles

If there is a big win, the city shares a drink--or many--at Chickie and Petes, Drinkers, Cavanaughs, or New Deck to name a few. Complete strangers become best friends on a night of a big win in Philadelphia, and come playoff time, things get out of control.
