Anyone who knows anything about sneakers knows that on the east coast, NYC is THE place to shop. There are plenty of stores all over the city, but some of the best ones are the hardest ones to find. The 'secret' ones tucked away in the basement of some building.

Dave's Quality Meat is a great place to go if you are looking for Nikes, Vans and Adidas. They always have a great selection of sneakers and some sweet T's and hoodies. Plus, there's something inherently cool about shopping for sneakers at a place that is listed as a butcher shop in the Yellow Pages.

Bottom Line:

There's lots of places to shop in NYC, but check out DQM to feel like you're in the 'know' when it comes to kicks.
