Information Commons

At Loyola University of Chicago, there is a new building that is known as the Information Commons. It is the technology center that is attached to the Cudahy Library. It was opened during the fall of 2007, and has since then become one of the most popular places for students on campus.

The building has four levels, three of which are open to the public. There are computers and group study rooms on each floor. Any of these rooms that are available can be rented out to students at anytime.

Not only is this building available and used by students, it is often times used by alumni and guests. If you were to take a stroll through the commons, you would be surprised at how many locals fill the building up.

It is one of the foremost technological resource buildings in the entire country, and is what the future may look like for many new buildings. The entire building, including temperature, closing and opening of blinds, and even lights are all self regulated.

The building is a spectacle to see without a doubt.
