Phi Delta Theta is an international fraternity founded in 1848. The fraternity's headquarters are at Miami University in Ohio. The fraternity has about 160 active chapters in which the St. Louis University chapter has over 100 active members. Every semester, Phi Delta Theta rushes and initiates a new pledge class and is a ever-growing fraternity.

The fraternity offers an excellent opportunity to gain life-long friends and make connections outside of the typical collegiate scene. Alums of the fraternity are present at most events and are very helpful with collegeg coursework and also work after college.

Every year, Phi Delta Theta contributes the majority of its philanthropic work to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). The SLU chapter hosts many events including a golf tournament and kickball tournament.
