Greek Life at Villanova
Article written by an anonymous user.
Villanova is not one of those schools with frat and sorority rows; in fact there is absolutely no Greek housing on campus. This fact ensures that Greek Life does not take over the social life on campus. Students who belong to a frat or sorority are not just all about their Greek brothers and sisters; they are involved in many other activities as well. In addition, they do not just associate with one another.
Joining a frat or sorority is a great way to meet people but it will only take over your life if you let it. Students say that students who belong to frats or sororities have plenty of friends who do not. On campus, there is a nice balance between Greek and non-Greek life.
Greek Parties?
Greek life is not a huge part of the party scene. They do not throw parties very often. It is much more commonplace for a frat to rent out and bar or club and charge a small cover charge to get in. Sororities love to have formals and cocktail parties.
