Greek Life at SLU
Article written by an anonymous user.
SLU doesn't have a huge Greek population, which might be why Greek life at SLU is so enjoyable. It's not Greek life like you "see on TV"- with sorority and fraternity houses galore and frat parties every night. There is one Greek residence hall, where one or two sororities or fraternities share each floor, but otherwise if you are "Greek" you live in the same housing (either on or off-campus) as everyone else. I made some of my best friends when I joined a sorority, and I gained valuable leadership experience at the same time. You definitely do not have to join a frat or sorority to have a life at SLU, but it certainly does not hurt to have a few more social events to choose from!
