If you know and love Penn's New Deck, you'll love there new sister restaurant Slainte. It's food and atmosphere are just as good as that of New Deck, but the menu and decor are a little more sophisticated than most Irish Pubs. Although nicer, the place is very well priced for what you get. And with $2 well drinks and half price off appetizers during happy hour, you really can't beat it.

Final Thoughts

Definitely a nice addition to the underdeveloped area around 30th street station. They also have a great late night bar atmosphere, which surprisingly includes dance music on Saturday nights. Check out there website for events and specials.
