'No need to sell your soul to enjoy what the Devil's Alley has to offer. Located at 19th and Chestnut, Devil’s Alley draws in an eclectic variety of people from businessmen to college students, and there’s no wonder why. The savory food and drinks as well as reasonable prices offered here is probable cause for the diversity of patrons.
I have been to Devil’s Alley several times, and each was a unique and very enjoyable experience. Their menu is filled with traditional foods such as burgers and sandwiches, all with a little twist adding to their appeal. Their beef brisket sandwich is absolutely fantastic, in fact, I have never ordered anything other than that for myself; however, I have dined with people who’ve gotten the mac ‘n cheese topped with a tomato jelly, which was probably the among the best mac ‘n cheese I’ve ever eaten. Another favorite is the Devil’s Burger, which is a quarter pound burger topped with shoestring fries and onion rings, and the Devil’s special cheese sauce. Devil’s Alley also offers a fairly large selection of rotating draft beers including Flying Fish, Yards, and Victory Hop Devil.
This bar/restaurant is certainly among the top for food, drinks, and atmosphere in Philadelphia. If you’re looking for a laid back, delicious dining experience I highly recommend a stroll down Devil’s Alley.
