Manouche is an institution at George Washington. Half hot dog vendor, half philosopher, Manouche claims to satisfy students' "id, ego, and superego." Other than campus snacks, he is the only person serving food late on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The food is exceptional, especially the Half Smokes with GW Sauce, an incredibly home made onion sauce. Manouche also sells cigarettes and drinks.

Students don't only go to Manouche for his incredible food; they go for his conversations. Manouch is an intelligent and eccentric person who enjoys discussing the most complex aspects of philosophy and life with inebriated students late at night. The only bad aspects about Manouche: 1) the lines are often very long because he's so popular, and 2) the cops will give him trouble some times and he'll have to close early.
