TECH Center

The academic buildings at Temple range from new and hi-tech to older and more charming. One of the newest buildings is the TECH Center, which just opened the Spring Semester of 2006. In addition to a Starbucks, a 24-hour tech support help desk, and an internet radio station, the TECH Center has study rooms and general lab areas. The "breakout rooms" are intended for group study sessions, and each one includes a computer and a flat screen TV.

The general lab areas include over 500 Dell computers and over 100 Mac computers. The whole building is wireless, and there are also loaner laptops available for students. The building is open 24-hours, so whether you just want to go to the Internet Lounge to check your email, or you need to go to a specialty lab such as the Video Editing Lab to work on a project, the TECH Center is definitely the place to go.
