Located on Cecil B. Moore Ave, "1300" is a five-story building that can hold about 1,050 students. Residents include freshmen as well as upperclassmen. The first three floors of the building are two-person and four-person suites for freshmen, and the fourth and fifth floors are apartments designated for upperclassmen and transfer students. An advantage of "1300" is the different options students have, such as one and two-person studio apartments, and one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

All floors are coed, with single-sex units, and laundry rooms on every floor. "1300" offers freshman and sophomore Honors housing, and features a fitness center, a TV room, 24-hour security, air conditioning, and a Convenience Store and Grill. Another advantage of living in "1300" is the computer lab.
